We Downloaded this data from CommonMind Consortium (CMC; http:www.synapse.org/CMC). CMC is a public-private partnership to
generate functional genomic data in brain samples obtained from autopsies of individuals with and without severe psychiatric disorders. In the original study, CMC collected
post-mortem dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) tissues from 258 subjects with schizophrenia and 279 controls from Caucasian, African-American, Hispanic and East Asian ancestries.
Then the RNA was extracted and RNA-seq was performed after depleting ribosomal RNA. Fromer et al. performed the differential expression analysis with Limma package using normalized
expression with adjustment for covariates. More details about the CMC description and data analysis procedure can be found in the original publication. (Fromer et al. 2016. Gene expression
lucidates functional impact of polygenic risk for schizophrenia. Nature Neuroscience, 19(11):1442-1453 [PMID: 27668389]).
